Ideally located on the coast of the
North Highlands there are plenty of nearby attractions to explore.
Brora
Brora village has a range of facilities including
a harbour, two beaches, a renowned golf course,
football club along with shops, restaurants and
take aways.
The Clynelish distillery in the village is well worth a visit as is Loch Brora a few miles inland.
Further Afield
A coastal walk south will take you past secluded coves towards the magnificent Dunrobin Castle and on towards Golspie.
The Far North railway line offers a scenic meandering journey southward towards Inverness or northwards through the Flow Country to Wick and Thurso.
Brora is located on the NC500 tourist route, but there are also a number of lesser known roads to explore taking you inland to the heart of the Highlands.
“A great base for exploring the North Highlands.”
